JONAHEMR
Planned · not yet available

Care that does not wait for a keyboard.

The next tier of JONAH moves the AI off the screen and into the room: hands-free scribing in the doctor's ear, live translation between doctor and patient, and, later, guidance from what the doctor is looking at. It starts with hardware clinics already own.

Three stages, in this order

We start with what is ready to ship and supportable in Indonesia, and move to new hardware only when it is proven in a clinic.

Stage 1 · first

Earbuds, hands-free

Any Bluetooth earbuds. The doctor talks; the scribe drafts. Live translation between Bahasa Indonesia and English for visitors and expatriate patients, spoken quietly in the doctor's ear.

Planned
Stage 1 · first

Phone companion

The camera and microphone already in the doctor's pocket, paired to the visit on screen. No new device to buy, insure or certify.

Planned
Stage 2 · after a clinic trial

Smart-glasses pilot

Hands-free guidance from what the doctor sees, trialled with a small number of units in one clinic before any wider release, and only on a platform that can be published and supported in Indonesia.

Later

Consent and privacy come first, not last.

Wearables in a consultation room only work if patients trust them. These are the rules the device tier is being designed to.

  • Patient consent before a device listens or looks, recorded on the visit.
  • A visible recording state on the screen and the device, every time.
  • Nothing written down. Audio is processed and discarded, as today. Video frames are held in memory only, at about one per second, and never stored.
  • Same de-identification as JONAH AI before any text reaches a model.
  • The EMR never depends on a device. If a device or the AI fails, the visit carries on.
What we have not proven yet Real-room accuracy with earbuds, battery life across a clinic day, and how patients feel about glasses in the room. Device features may also need regulatory review in Indonesia, including radio certification for any hardware we supply. We will publish what the pilot shows, including what does not work.

Join the device pilot list

We are looking for a few clinics, and doctors who are comfortable trying new tools, to shape the device tier with us. Joining the list commits you to nothing.

  • Early demos of earbud scribing and translation
  • A say in what the glasses pilot tests
  • Pilot terms agreed before anything is installed
